About SoftExpo 2012 Overview

SoftExpo 2012 was held from February 22 to 26, 2012 at the Bangladesh International Conference Center, Dhaka. Ministry of ICT, Access 2 Information (A2i) Program, and UNDP were the co-organizer of the event. More than hundred organizations participated in the fair. Twenty foreign IT companies participated at the exposition.

GPIT, the ICT solution wing of leading mobile telecommunication of the country was the Platinum Sponsor of the event. DELL, a globally renowned IT hardware company was the Gold Sponsor whereas IBPC and BRAC Bank were the Co-sponsors. Zone & Event Sponsors were Huwaei & Cim solutions and Qubee was engaged as the Internet Partner. International Trade Center (ITC) and CBI were the International Matchmaking Support.

More than 40,000 visitors attended the 5 day long exposition. Around 25 Seminars/Technical sessions on various policy issues took place during the expo.
